Marijuana and Its Affects

Could marijuana legalization affect the human health? After making the rule of gay marriage legal in many states, now marijuana is legal also. What else could be legal in the future? On November 7 2013, the city of Portland became the first city on the east coast to legalize marijuana after Washington and Colorado with 6.7% of the votes-9921 to 4823 according to Portland Press Herald.
These cities legalize marijuana to increase the income of the city and impose taxes on merchants. The study from the Colorado Center in law and policy projected shows that the tax could reduce 60 million in new revenue and savings annually in the first years of legalization for the state. The government takes advantage from legalization rules such as using marijuana that affect in a bad way the human health to get benefit from it such as increasing the state tax of sales. For example, many studies have recently been published, had examined the negative sides of using marijuana and how could affect the brain permanently and cause damage for it. The daily use of marijuana can become a risk to be independent for some people and can be adducted to use it. Marijuana also affects the brain memory of the human for daily using and their ability to think and focus clearly on the real life. Marijuana could cause hallucination that could make the person’s life in non-reality life that could affect the human safety especially during driving or walking in the street. I have interviewed many people and talked about marijuana new law, 75% of them have not support it because it could make the people who are under 21 years old get marijuana easily and that could take them to the next level in the future which is the addiction on drugs.

So the government should take in concern the safety of human life before it runs those rules.

ObamaCare Program Commentary

I agree with Jariah U.S. Government blog post about Obama HealthCare program, because as much as this program make citizens with health problems happy, it will make people who don’t have health insurance suffering. As she mentions in the post that this program will affect small business companies because it will require them hard time to pay for their employees with health insurance and they can’t afford it since they are small business organization. It’s hard for small business owners to afford the requirement for this plan than the bigger business.
Employees start to worry about generous health plans for future penalty. One case that big company worry about the tax of this plan that’s doesn’t kick until 2018 which make these big company prepare for it form this now. Big companies worry from the tax obligations about the increase amount of this insurance
The opinion of most people is different from age to age. For example, some people between the ages of 20 to 35 years old are mostly the largest ratio of people who have rejected the idea of ObamaCare program, and most of them think that they might visit a doctor once a year and even don’t, so most of them refuse the thought and ignore the people who really need it.
The requirement have not get a lot of publicity from the Obama administration, that’s why many citizens and business don’t like Obama’s decision plan and many people especially who they affected in this plan. Going to the white house, on November the 14th as CBS News wrote, President Obama declared that the White house is letting the Americans keep canceled the health plan for another year. I think that was a good and wise decision from the government to help the Americans citizens adjust to the new ObamaCare health plan in the marketplace.

The United States Allies

Allies are like a back support. In the United States, there are many allies especially Britain that their actions and decisions are in the interest of the United States and are willing to support the America's decisions in any situation. While the former CIA chief has written in Wall Street Journal that the allies are wary of the United States for some unreasonable reasons that Woolsey consider them good ones which are related to the less involvement in the leadership for many years. I consider the final decisions in Syria case for example, which the United States government is not like France, which declared that France is ready to attack Assad Syria’s president; while the United States government is wise enough that they are studying the case before changing a whole nation future to live free and apply democracy. Other point that Woolsey mentioned which I agree with is to maintain the relationship with the United States allies and build the needful and vital bridges with them. As Woolsey said that France and Germany are requesting to join the 'five eyes' (Weil, 2013); I think after inspecting their intentions, it is good to have them allies as well.
