Allies
are like a back support. In the United States, there are many allies especially
Britain that their actions and decisions are in the interest of the United
States and are willing to support the America's decisions in any situation.
While the former CIA chief has written in Wall Street Journal that the allies
are wary of the United States for some unreasonable reasons that Woolsey
consider them good ones which are related to the less involvement in the
leadership for many years. I consider the final decisions in Syria case for
example, which the United States government is not like France, which declared
that France is ready to attack Assad Syria’s president; while the United States
government is wise enough that they are studying the case before changing a
whole nation future to live free and apply democracy. Other point that Woolsey
mentioned which I agree with is to maintain the relationship with the United
States allies and build the needful and vital bridges with them. As Woolsey
said that France and Germany are requesting to join the 'five eyes' (Weil,
2013); I think after inspecting their intentions, it is good to have them
allies as well.
